Bethany's Media Analysis

Hello!

I’m Bethany Lombardo, a college senior at Roger Williams University. I am studying Communications/Media Studies with a minor in Film Studies. Movies have always interested me due to their layered themes and political nature, often full of social commentary and allegories. Through my academics, I have been able to gain an even deeper appreciation for studying film by learning about media analysis techniques and how to look for the more implicit side of texts and artifacts. This website will serve as a way for me display my work of delving into film and other media and analyzing these texts through their narrative and formal elements and occasionally through different communication theories and frameworks.
